Poland – Estonia. Ratings of the Poles after the semi-finals of the qualifiers – Euro 2024 qualifiers

The meeting held at the PGE National Stadium in Warsaw was of great importance for both teams in the context of playing in this year's European Championship.

The Poles, who remain in the promotion fight, won 5:1 and will play in the final against Wales in Cardiff (March 26). Check out our rating of the Whites and Reds players on the field.

Poland – Estonia. White and red reviews

The Juventus goalkeeper was virtually out of work on Thursday. He only had the ball a few times when he restarted from the fifth metre. He did not maintain his concentration, because the Estonians only had one shot on goal, which the experienced goalkeeper missed very easily.

The Arsenal player was one of three central defenders. He loved playing football in attack. He led attacking actions on the left side, forming a successful duo with Zalewski.

There wasn't much good going on down the right flank, hence Bednarek's more subdued performance. The Southampton player shone in the 15th minute when he passed Zalewski a long pass after a mistake, which led to the referee flagging down one of the Estonian players. He failed to score any goals for the visiting team, due to his great distance from his competitor.

The Verona defender was the only pole of the pitch to spend more time in his own half. He distributed balls skillfully, although he rarely decided to make risky moves.

Roma's movement was very active on the left side of the pitch. After committing two fouls on him, the referee showed Pascuzzi a red card. He often entered the opponent's penalty area, but lacked precise passing. That changed early in the second half when he effectively assisted Zielinski's goal. He then played a key role in the Mets' own goal and Szymanski's goal.

The Ludogorets player did not face a difficult task at the PGE National Stadium. He controlled the pace of the game, and in the 22nd minute he provided an assist from deep for Frankowski's goal. Just over a quarter of an hour before the end of the match, he also scored a wonderful goal from long range, his trademark in Bulgaria. Great match!

It is difficult to say anything more about the performance of the Atlanta United player than what happened. He did not lose the ball easily and played less than the defenders.

Przemyslaw Frankowski – 4

Midfielder Lens was invisible for long periods because the game was mainly played on the left side of the pitch, rather than on the right. In the most crucial moment, in the 22nd minute, he showed his intelligence, outmaneuvering the defender in a one-on-one situation and confidently converting Piotrowski's pass into a goal. He left with a minor injury in the first half.

An average game for a midfielder who has not played regularly for Napoli recently. The 29-year-old has rarely been 'in the game' given his abilities. In the 49th minute, he was in the right place at the right time, and scored a header into the net from close range.

The Verona striker was invisible for very long periods. He had the best chance to score in the 11th minute, but his header went high over the goal. He left the field fifteen minutes before the end of the match.

The Barcelona player performed better than his strike partner, but we usually expect more from the Reds and Whites captain. The 35-year-old found his teammates several times with beautiful passes, and was able to provide an assist for Piotrowski's goal.

He came on in the 46th minute. Less than ten minutes passed and he suffered a leg injury and had to be replaced by Bučac.

He came on in the 56th minute. He tried and tried, but in the referee's book he only received a yellow card.

Sebastian Szymanski – 3.5

Came on in the 73rd minute. On the plus side, a goal after a great pass from Zalewski who was very good that day.

He came on in the 73rd minute. He didn't stand out in any way.

He came on in the 73rd minute. He will be remembered mainly for his behavior in the visitors' goal. His slip cost the Polish defense a clean sheet.

Poland – Estonia 5:1 (1:0)
