Pesa wins the tender in Estonia.  Will provide trams to Tallinn

The tender was announced by Tallinna Linnatransport, a telecom operator, in June 2021. Two months later, prequalification was conducted. On November 19, 2021, bids were finally submitted by Pesa Bydgoszcz, CAF and Skoda.

In the end, the Bidding Committee considered the offer of the Polish product to be the most advantageous. same Pesa will deliver eight trams to Tailnna Linnatransport.

The company announced that the Estonian carrier will receive a three-section Twist family tram, 28.56 meters long, capable of carrying up to 300 passengers (65 seats).

Millions for a company based in Bydgoszcz

Delivery is scheduled from the base order to the third a fourth 2024. Pesa issued a 48-month warranty.

As provided by the company, the value bypass (including platform and option) is 52 million euros. Estonians have 16 months to exercise the option.

The contract between Tallinna Linnatrasport and Pesa will be signed in May 2022 in Bydgoszcz.
