The host has been in the hospital for several days to support her mother, who was hospitalized just days before Christmas.
In a summary posted on the social network, McQuade admitted that her mother strongly suggested she take a “vacation” and rest at home, which she did for an evening.
He also explained the reasons behind his mother’s hospitalization. The latter suffers from influenza, which is aggravated by many chronic diseases.
Despite the fact that hers was “a bit miraculous,” she wished her subscribers a restful and peaceful Christmas.
