For several days, information about the relatively early presentation of the new generation of graphics cards from NVIDIA has appeared on the network. According to some sources (such as kopite7nymi), the best systems based on the Ada architecture will be presented in July. In addition, there is information indicating a slightly weaker specification for the first card, using the AD102 chip – GeForce RTX 4090. The idea is to leave some SM blocks inactive, which will also reduce the total number of all arithmetic units. Meanwhile, on the Chinese website ChipHell, images have surfaced showing shards of the housing and cooling system for the top-of-the-line NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Ti Founders Edition card.

Images appeared on the network that allegedly show parts of the cooling system and the condition of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Ti Founders Edition graphics card. The design itself will not change significantly compared to the current generation, but the cooling system for the best Founders Edition systems will be quite massive.

Among some changes compared to the current generation, we can list, among others, an extended heat sink and an expanded steam room. The modified heat sink is now supposed to allow free cooling not only of the main graphics core, but also of an array of 12 GDDR6X memory chips (2 GB each). The board also contains a large aluminum heat sink for the VRM systems and two heat areas for the rest of the components. Interestingly, the RTX 4090 Ti name is visible on the case, but we’d expect a very similar design to be used also on the GeForce RTX 4090 model.
