What new TV shows and movies are coming this week? Here are the most interesting premieres on VOD and in cinemas between March 27 and April 2.
Bonus good morning
The new Apple TV+ series tells the story of an extraordinary machine that unlocks the true potential of every human being. This has a major impact on everyone’s lives in a small town as everyone begins to take a hard look at their relationships, change jobs, and question everything they believed in years ago. However, the promised better future may not come. Starring Chris O’Dowd, and premiering March 29. New episodes will be added Wednesday on Apple TV+.
bonds
FX products regularly go to Disney+ in Poland and it won’t be any different in the case of “Bonds”. The new series, starring Mallory Johnson, tells the story of a young black woman who aspires to become a writer. After moving into a new house, you will realize that you have gone back in time to the 19th century. There, he begins to uncover secrets about his past. Premieres on Disney+ starting Wednesday, March 29.
Riverdale season 7
The final seventh season of “Riverdale” is coming to Netflix – a series that, to everyone’s surprise, is still ongoing. The premieres in Poland were slightly delayed compared to the American market, but interest apparently did not wane. The main cast of characters remains the same, but the format of the series has undergone a massive transformation – since season two it’s been something completely different, then it’s moved downhill and taken on many different forms. Will he be back in shape with the new episodes? All will be revealed Thursday, March 30th on Netflix.
Power
Naomi Alderman’s book adaptation tells the story of teenage girls from around the world who gain a special power. Whenever they want, they can electrocute someone, which of course creates a lot of opportunities to help others, but also creates major concerns and problems. Starring Toni Collette, John Leguizamo and Eddie Marsan. It premieres on Amazon Prime Video March 31st.
rabbit hole
The new Paramount + Original series with Kiefer Sutherland has the potential to be action-packed and fun for fans of “24” and other series like it. The actor plays James Weir, a special agent. It operates at the heart of the struggle for democracy, when disinformation, surveillance and manipulation reign supreme. It premieres March 31 on SkyShowtime.
Missing
A film in the “research” style, that is, a production that does not use conventional and traditional shooting methods, but rather uses the content displayed on the screens of smartphones, tablets, laptops, and images from other devices such as home cameras, surveillance, etc. This time the mother of the main character, a teenage girl, has disappeared. She went to Colombia on vacation with a new partner and went missing, so the teen began searching, discovering more and more terrifying information about who she was living with under the same roof. The movie will hit theaters on March 31.
Pooh: blood and honey
An unusual approach to the story of Winnie the Pooh and Piglet, who in this version were abandoned by Christopher Robin and turned into heinous killers. The horror, in which such cute characters stage a massacre in the Hundred Acre Forest is definitely something original and not everyone will be ready to watch it. In cinemas from March 31st, and next year, we await a sequel from the creator of the first film: Rhys Frake-Waterfield.
