New AMD processors with 3D V-Cache are coming. The following systems will enter the Ryzen 5000X3D, 7000X3D, and 9000X3D series.

In mid-August 2024, information appeared that AMD is preparing to premiere another system from the AMD Ryzen 5000X3D series, which will be able to use 3D V-Cache technology. Now, a well-known and quite reliable tipster has revealed that the debut of another chip is imminent, but from the AMD Ryzen 7000X3D line, which will use the same technology. In addition, ASUS has confirmed that modules with 3D V-Cache will also appear in the AMD Ryzen 9000 series.

There are several indications that AMD is currently working on several new units that will use 3D V-Cache technology. We are talking about the AMD Ryzen 5000X3D and slightly older 7000X3D series, as well as the newer 9000X3D.

AMD Ryzen 5 5500X3D – New processor coming to AM4 platform that will use 3D V-Cache technology

The existence of the new AMD Ryzen 5 5500X3D system and the planned premiere, which will be the lowest-ranking module in the AMD Ryzen 5000X3D series with 3D V-Cache technology, were confirmed in early August 2024, when the model was revealed, it was mentioned in the entry on the Eurasian Economic Commission website. Literally two weeks later, information appeared that the premiere of the AMD Ryzen 7600X3D system is scheduled for September 2024, and that’s it. However, we don’t know much about this module, which is part of the AMD Ryzen 7000X3D series, except that it will be equipped with 6 cores and the total capacity of the second and third level cache will be 102 MB.
