In the late 1980s, in collaboration with Electronic Arts, he created a video game franchise that today is worth over $4 billion. All versions of Madden NFL have sold more than 130 million copies to date. According to The Hollywood Reporter, O. Russell’s film is a behind-the-scenes account of the game’s creation.
