Keanu Reeves is a tirelessly popular actor over the years, and viewers would like to see him in more unusual roles. During one of the last interviews, the star admitted that he could appear in the world of Marvel films.
In the coming months, we will have a great opportunity to see Keanu Reeves in action – in March 2023 “Johk Wick 4” will be released on screens in March 2023, which was promoted in July with a dynamic trailer. We also know that the Canadian artist will return to his role in the sequel to “Constantine”. But can we expect more announcements about his next career projects soon?
Reeves participated in the Jimmy Kimmel Live program, during which he promoted the Brzrkr comic about the fate of an immortal warrior – the artist developed the story. During an interview, he admitted that at the age of ten he was an ordinary geek and loved comics. The moderator pulled the topic and asked if there were any Marvel heroes they would like to play.
“A 10-year-old would like – I think maybe he’d like to be a Ghost Rider,” he admitted.
The Ghost Rider films, in which Nicolas Cage starred, debuted in 2007 and 2012 – It’s no surprise, however, that Kevin Feige and his co-stars are looking for a way to get the “The Matrix” star on the MCU show. The producer has repeatedly confirmed that he spoke with Keanu.
Reeves’ final words make it clear that he’ll also be eager to co-produce superheroes — and we don’t mean the DC Universe the actor mentioned a few months ago.
“It’s really cool. I think the way the Marvel movies have evolved and what they really are is amazing and it would be great to be a part of it.”
However, time will tell if Marvel Studios and the actor will reach an agreement.
