Is he better than Mikael Isak? Pogoń Szczecin coach says so

On Sunday, there will be a match in the sixth round of the Extraklasse between Lech Poznań and Pogoń Szczecin. Before that, the coach of the latter, Robert Kolindowicz, spoke about the two teams’ strikers – Mikael Isak and Efthymios Koulouris.

Lech Poznań and Poznań Szczecin have 10 points in the five league rounds so far and are next to each other in the table. The two teams have recorded three wins, one draw and one defeat. On Sunday, there will be a direct confrontation, which always excites the fans of both teams. It will be held at the Kolegówka Stadium.

The attacking lines of the Poznan and Szczecin teams should include Mikael Isak and Efthymios Koulouris. Both have started their new games successfully. The 31-year-old Swede has scored four goals so far. The 28-year-old Greek has scored three.

On Sunday they will be able to increase their accounts.

When commenting on the way the opponents were covered in this match, Robert Kolindovic mentioned both names.

– There is Isak, who is key for Lech. But for me Kolo is definitely a better player. If we are preparing to stop Isak, Lech have to prepare for Kolo. We have different defences set up for different phases of the game. At some points we switch to man coverage. We know when to use it. I strongly believe that the whole team will be at its best defensively. We have to play from the back as much as possible during the season. For us, one of the priorities will be to reach the point where we finish the game with zero. We also had individual training sessions planned for this purpose, the 43-year-old admitted.

Kolindovic recently became the successor to Jens Gustafsson, who moved to Saudi Arabia. As a footballer, he represented both Lech and Pogon.
