Quebec recorded 77 new infections and one more death on Friday, but officials made corrections, adding 210 cases, including several dating from last year.

Yesterday, 64 infections and 10 deaths were reported in the province.

So far, 375,716 Quebecs have died from COVID-19 and 11,230 from complications.

Hospital admissions were low (96, -5) and the number of intensive care beds was stable (22, -1).

Some 6.09 million Quebecs received the first dose (81%) and 3.13 million were fully vaccinated (42%).

The situation in Canada

Ontario has added 183 reserve cases and nine deaths to its balance sheet, currently reporting 546,804 patients and 9,237 deaths since the outbreak.

In Ontario, statistics are improving for hospitalizations (189, -5) and those in intensive care (202, -13) where 16.6 million doses of the vaccine are administered, including 10.1 million in the first dose and 6.5 million in the second dose.
