George Clooney and his 46-year-old lawyer wife are raising their children in Europe, away from the media spotlight, and moving between their several properties in France and Italy. In a conversation with Brad Pitt, with whom he starred in “Wolves,” Clooney spoke about the many “pitfalls of fame.”
The actor said that in his opinion, fame is not a fun thing, especially in public places where people quickly recognize him and take pictures of him. He and his wife made the decision to protect their children and not expose them to the public.
– Clooney said.
“But there are five or six people who can’t do it. And there was no such thing as, ‘Hey, let’s walk through Central Park and not get arrested.’ It hasn’t happened yet, but it’s clearly going to happen.”

Because of his and his wife’s humanitarian activities, he wants to keep his children away from the media noise.

Next year, the actor will make his Broadway debut in an adaptation of “Good Night, and Good Luck.” Before moving to New York for a few months, he wants to devote himself to his family.
“I wouldn’t do anything else. I would give myself time to spend with my kids. I really enjoy taking them to school and my wife and I have a great time doing it. I don’t want to lose everything.”
