What do we know about the movie “Nosferatu”?
“Nosferatu” is a variation on one of Eggers’ favorites “Nosferatu – A Symphony of Horror” by FW Murnau. Classics of German Expressionism Based on the novel by Bram Stoker “Dracula”.
Eggers has been planning to do a movie since 2015. Originally, Harry Styles and Anya Taylor-Joy were to star in it. The current cast includes Lily-Rose Depp (“Voyagers”), Bill Skarsgård (“Barbarians”) and Nicholas Hoult (“The List”).
“Nosferatu” in Eggers’ version would be A gothic obsession. This is a young woman’s story set in nineteenth century Germany and Transylvanian vampirewho follows in her footsteps.

For Willem Dafoe, this will not be the first adventure with Murnau’s Nosferatu – Symphony of Horrors. For nearly a quarter of a century, he starred in Shadow of the Vampire.
