The meeting began unexpectedly, because the PGE Skra volleyball players quickly gained an advantage (1: 5) and took the lead. Dick Cui and Alexander Atansjević presented themselves effectively, and the hosts made more mistakes. As a result, Bełchatów’s team kept a point distance (4:11, 10:17). ZAKSA volleyball players burst into battle, reducing losses to two points (17:19), but in the end the guests retained their advantage. Seta was closed with an effective attack from Atanasijević (20:25).

The second part had an almost identical beginning to the previous one. Bełchatów started with a bang (0:3, 4:9) and did not allow his rivals to have a voice. Throughout the group they had a clear advantage (6:11, 10:16). They played better in attack than their rivals, and also presented themselves better in the blocks and on the field of service. Atanasijevic brought the set piece to the guests (17:24), and the rivals’ foul gave the missing point (18:25).
The third set was also played with the advantage of the PGE Skra volleyball players, but it was more balanced than the previous ones. The hosts were in the game until the end, after Norbert Huber had the lead by only two points (19:21). However, the main stocks fell prey to Bełchatów. Mateusz Bennick shone in two operations, showing an effective attack, and after a while a mass equal to the weight of a match ball. The rivalry ended with an automatic attack from Kędzierzyn (20:25).
