In the draft, the government also assumes that measures will be taken to reduce electricity consumption by offices that provide services to the government and local government administrative bodies. The law enters into force the day after it is announced, with the exception of provisions for energy savings in offices, which will enter into force in early 2022 and 2023.
The maximum expenditure from the fund to combat COVID-19 in the years 2023-2025 is planned at PLN 26.8 billion, including the payment of PLN 23 billion in compensation in 2023 and an electrical allowance of PLN 1 billion. The remaining 2.8 billion PLN was intended to compensate companies for deductions in the years 2024-2025.
