Donald Glover joins the onscreen Spider-Man universe. He will play the antagonist of Spider-Man
Donald Glover will produce and star in the on-screen film set in the Spider-Man universe. The ‘Atlanta’ creator will play a little-known adversary to Spider-Man named Hypno-Hustler.

Who is Hypno-Hustler?

The villain first appeared in his own comic in 1978. The creators of the character were Bill Mantlo and Frank Springer. Hypno-Hustler aka Antoine Delsoin is the leader of the Mercy Killers band. During concerts, he uses hypnosis equipment to steal from his listeners.

Details of the Hypno-Hustler movie are currently under wraps. All we know is that Eddie Murphy’s son, Miles Murphy, is writing the screenplay. No director has been selected yet.

This wouldn’t be Glover’s first visit to the on-screen world of Spider-Man. The star previously voiced Miles Morales in the Disney XD animated series “Ultimate Spider-Man” and portrayed his uncle Aaron Davis in “Spider-Man: Homecoming.”
