A year after his Oscar win, Chris Rock is getting revenge on Will Smith

Chris Rock finally slapped Will Smith in the face at the 2022 Oscars.

Comedian Will Smith said he practiced “selective outrage”.

Will Smith largely avoided the public eye after the incident. He apologized to Academy members and peers during his Best Actor acceptance speech at the ceremony and wrote a lengthy apology on Instagram the next day.

The 54-year-old actor later resigned from the Academy, which banned him from Oscar-related events for 10 years.
