Badder Santa DVD Review

From the opening scenes to the closing minutes this movie had me laughing my ass off. This is a movie that shows exactly why directors cuts can be great great things.

Badder Santa is it funny? Hell yes. This is a dirty grundy movie that is a comedy for us adults and let me say it is about friggin time.. I am happy to see a comedy where the F word and crude male humor is not off limits. There is plenty of room for fun family comedies, but come on, is it that bad to give us adults a comedy we have to watch in the closet in the dark for fear of family and chidren seeing it? It is definitely not going to win any awards for class and power drama, but I tell you Badder Santa in my books is the shiznit.

Surprisingly Even Bernie Mac who doesnt do it for me at all was funny as hell. His role as a crooked Mall security chief is ace and adds plenty to the movie. Lauren Graham from Gilmore Girls also has a funny role as a bartender who grew up without christmas and Willie ( Billy Bob ) the santa is more then happy to show her a merry Xmas. Use your imagination!

Then you have the fat little kid who thinks Willie is really Santa and follows him everywhere. Getting beat up by street punks, wedgied by skaters, and even saving Santa from a Mugger. One of the best roles in the movie is this little kid. Had me snickering from my darkened room more then once.

Overall the characters in this movie are awesome and Billy Bob delivers as Willie the dirtiest, baddest and nastiest Santa you ever done seen. If hes in the ladies clothing section you best stay clear you hear? I give this movie a 9/10. Great comedy, not for the kids but you adults who like your comedy dark, dark and darker. This ones for you.
