Branden Fraser Ready for new Mummy Film

A very long time ago we told you that Stephen Sommers has completed a script for "Mummy 3" and plans to begin shooting at the end of this year and early 2006. Well that wasnt quite completely true, amazing how muchthings can change.
 
According to ProductionWeekly, Brendan Fraser is set to reprise his role as the Foreign Legion soldier Rick O'Connell in a script by Alfred Gough and Miles. Branden Fraser's character will end up on another adventure, not neccesarily a Mummy advenutre. The studio has made an offer to Joe Johnston, to direct.
