Hellboy 2 Movie : Guillermo Speaks

Griffo: What are your thoughts on Hellboy being six months late to the UK?
Guillermo: Griffo, it sucks. It's full of shite to do this. But the fact is that their argument was very persuasive, about them needing time to make it better-known in foreign territories. But, as the Bible says, piracy waits for no man.

Antonleroy: It looks like the US Hellboy DVD is a beauty. Will us Brits get just as good a version?
Guillermo: Yes. The British version will be exactly the same as the theatrical DVD version released in America. I will try to cattle-prod the distributor into doing the disc exactly the same way, but as an illegal Mexican man I can thoroughly advise you to get an all-region DVD player. They're cheap down the East End.

Griffo: Will you make Hellboy into a trilogy
Guillermo: I would love to make Hellboy into a trilogy. Creatively, Mike Mignola and I know that we want to at least do that. Economically, it's the studio's decision.

And for those of you who love The Blade Movies as much as I do, he had some feedback on the new Blade Trinity Movie.

Guillermo: I already saw Trinity at an early cut, and enjoyed it. It's a very different movie from one and two — it has a lot more dark, nasty Goyer comedy in it — but I happen to be a fan of dark, nasty Goyer comedy. I hope they don't tamper with it, and I hope it finds its audience.
