The Jumper Shooting in Peterborough

The Jumper is filming in Peterborough according to a reader who lives in the city. The story revolves around a kid from a broken home who discovers that he has the ability to teleport. In a quest to track down the man he believes is responsible for the death of his mother he meets another man with the same abilities who begins to show him the ropes.

Got a bit of news on "Jumper."  Downtown Peterborough is a traffic jam.  Hasselton's coffee shop on George Street has been renamed "Seattle's Best Coffee," as well as other storefront name changes  and there are cones and boom trucks lining the streets.  Today, filming was taking place at the Peterborough Public Library, complete with police guards.
