The Seven Swords Movie Cast Announced

Yesterday afternoon the cast of "The Seven Swords" was announced in Beijing. The cast includes Leon Lai, Charlie Yeung, Lu Yi, Sun Honglei, Kim So-Yeon, Donnie Yen, Wang Xueqi, Zhang Jingchu, Zhou Qunda, Dai Li-Wu and Huang Peng. Also the famous Shaw Brothers director Liu Chia-Liang will be the director of action in the film. That will make for some great action sequences and fight scenes.

The director Tsui Hark has said that the film will be done in a series of seven installments. The first installment is going iinto production later this week. The Seven Swords is based on a wuxia novel written by Liang Yusheng. It revolves around seven swordsmen that rebel against the Qing regime.

So far this sounding really good. Donnie Yen should really bring alot to this film and with Liu Chia-Liang directing the action scenes nothing can go wrong. I hear Gordon Liu even has a role in this film which I hope is true.
