Stone Cold Steve Austin is The Condemned

I just loved to watch 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin wrestling. And now he's having his first leading role in a feature movie, an action flick called "The Condemned". The movie tells the story of Jack Conrad (Stone Cold Steve Austin), who is awaiting the death penalty in a corrupt Central American prison.
 
He is "purchased" by a wealthy television producer and taken to a desolate island where he must fight to the death against nine other condemned killers from all corners of the world, with freedom going to the sole survivor. The producer films the illegal event, airing the killings live and uncensored onto the internet.
 
Sounds a lot like "The Running Man" doesn't it. Well, let's see how this one develops. "The Condemned" will be released by Lionsgate Films, but till now no release date has been set. Stay tuned, for we will keep you updated.
