The Hard Corps on DVD August 29

 Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will release the hard-hitting urban, action-thriller The Hard Corps on DVD August 29.  Written and directed by Sheldon Lettich (Double Impact, Bloodsport), The Hard Corps stars International superstar Jean-Claude Van Damme (Double Impact, Second In Command) and Vivica A. Fox (Kill Bill Vol. 1, Independence Day) in this intense action thriller about seeking revenge and finding justice.  The film also features performances by Razaaq Adoti (Resident Evil: Apocalypse Doom, Second in Command), Peter Bryant (Underclassmen, Shelf Life), Viv Leacock (Freddy vs. Jason, I Spy) and Ron Selmour (“Battlestar Galactica,â€? Blade Trinity), Ron Bottitta (“The Shield,â€? “Aliasâ€?).

In The Hard Corps, former Desert Storm Special Forces soldier Patrick Sauvage (Van Damme) is hired by the sister (Vivica A. Fox) of a retired World Heavyweight champion turned wealthy entrepreneur, Wayne Barclay (Adoti), to protect him and his family against a rap music mogul who has been released from prison and is out to seek revenge against Barclay after he put him behind bars.  To assist in the protection of the family, Sauvage sets up a team of young fighters and former soldiers who become “The Hard Corps.â€?
