BenchWarmers on DVD July 25th!

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment releases the grand slam comedy The Benchwarmers on DVD, for PSP, and Blu-ray Disc® July 25.  Directed by Dennis Dugan (Happy Gilmore, Big Daddy), The Benchwarmers stars Rob Schneider (50 First Dates), David Spade (Joe Dirt) and Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite, Just Like Heaven) as friends who create a three-man baseball team and go head-to-head with the top little league team in the state.  The film also stars Jon Lovitz (The Producers, Little Nicky, The Wedding Singer), Molly Sims (Starsky & Hutch, “Las Vegasâ€?) and Craig Kilborn (The Shaggy Dog, Old School).  Featuring a home run line-up of bonus features including deleted scenes, audio commentary and more, The Benchwarmers will be available on DVD for an SRP of $28.95.

The Benchwarmers has brought in more than $55 million at the box office and tells the story of three nerds (Schneider, Spade and Heder) who team up to create a baseball team in an effort to make up for their lack of athleticism when they were younger.  The determined trio compete against a full squad of elementary school baseball players and along the way, develop a large following of left-out kids as they head into a high-stakes, winner takes all game against the best little league in the state.
