Filming Set to Begin on 'Shadow'

According to Fangoria, Fever Dreams (the production division of Media Blasters) is set to begin filming on their new movie, tentatively titled 'Shadow'.  'Shadow' is the second feature film for the company, which released 'Flesh for the Beast' last year.  'Shadow' is a cross between the zombies, womens-prision and martial-arts genres in which a new inmate at an all-female penitentiary uncovers the facility’s horrible history, which leads to an invasion of flesh-hungry zombies.

Derek Wan, who was responsible for some excellent cinematography on films such as Jet Li's 'Fist of Legend', Michelle Yoeh's 'Royal Warriors' and 'Once Upon a Time in China V', is making his US directorial debut on 'Shadow'.  Michael Gingold (Fangoria) is writing a script based on a story by 'Flesh for the Beast' cinematographer Richard Siegel.  Gingold says:

"This movie will contain everything you’d want and expect from that combination of genres, from group showers to ghoul feasting scenes, plus some gruesome surprises"

Makeup for the movie is going to be handled by Brian Spears and Peter Gerner (of 'Flesh' fame).  In an exciting bit of news, the special effects will be handled by none other than Allan Cooke (Resident Evil: Apocalypse, Wrong Turn).  Casting for the flick is currently underway.
