Whatever happens to Julia Stiles in "The Omen" remake, which brings the horror classic tale of Damien back to theaters on June 6th, she has a future in the "Bourne" movie franchise adapted from Robert Ludlum's novels about Jason Bourne, played on-screen by Matt Damon. MoviesOnline announced a while back that the "Bourne" series will continue with "The Bourne Ultimatum," the third in line after "The Bourne Identity" and "The Bourne Supremacy." Matt Damon and Joan Allen will also be back to reprise their roles in the next film. Though many details have surfaced regarding the movies plot, the script has gone through several drafts and rewrites, and everything is being kept secret as it moves towards a finalized version.

Stiles commented to ComingSoon.net about her character and the evolution of the story as each movie comes to fruition; "I think I was lucky to not die in the last one, but I just don't know if I'm going to be good or bad. I really liked that you didn't know what I was doing in the first one, and then luckily for me, they decided to explore my character a little bit more in the second one, and now hopefully, more in the third one. You feel like it's a trilogy that is complete. It's not just one movie and then another, and then another. Characters you didn't pay much attention to in the first one, you realize they are much more significant as the trilogy goes on."

Fresh from his powerful 9/11 film "United 93," Paul Greengrass ( Video Feature : Paul Greengrass Talks United 93 )will be back to direct, having seamlessly picked up where director of "The Bourne Identity" Doug Liman left off for the sequel "The Bourne Supremacy." Stiles remarked that Greengrass is doing one of the things he does best and updating the story so that the movie won’t be anything like the book. For fans of the books, different might mean possible disaster, but considering that the same was done for the previous installments brought to the big screen, different is more likely to mean thrilling success.

The first film made $121 million domestic alone, and the second made $176 million domestic, both blowing way past their production costs at no less than double what it ran Universal to make them. The "Bourne" movies represent action flicks at the top of their game, and now the third is preparing to roll to remind us why.
