Filming Wraps on Sugar Creek

Filming completed on "Sugar Creek", a violent Civil War-era film written and directed by Fort Smith, Arkansas-native James Cotten, on Saturday, April 15th, in Elkins, Arkansas. Shooting began March 13th in Damascus, Arkansas.

The film stars Daniel Kruse (Escape from Hell), Robert Miano ("Donnie Brasco", "The Funeral") and Kevin Gage ("Heat", "Con Air", "Blow"). Adam Stanton (Daniel Kruse) finds himself alone, lying in a coffin, his feet bare. He wanders throughout the landscape, searching for help that he will not find. For there is a legend of a Horseman, a ghost that brings in men who have lived past their time. He hunts those men for three days. And if you help the one he’s hunting, the shoeless man, he’ll kill you as well.

The film also stars Rebecca Harrel ("Saint Sinner", "Prancer") and Raynor Scheine ("The Sentinel", "Transamerica", "Fried Green Tomatoes"). The film now moves into post-production and is slated for completion in October 2006.
