Tom Cruise is scooping up the Asian filmsPosted by:Tom Cruise and his partner, Paula Wagner, are going to produce a remake of the Hong Kong thriller Colour of the Truth. Colour Of The Truth tells a story of a cop who for many years carried the guilt of the death of his partner, not knowing his partner was secretly working for the gangs.
Meanwhile, the son of his partner wants a revenge and the cop's own son has learned the rule of playing on both sides of the law.
Cruise and Wagner also have the rights to produce The Eye. One of the best Hong Kong horror films I have ever seen by the Pang Brothers. The Eye is a story about a young blind girl, Mun (Lee Sin-Jee) who gets a cornea transplant that returns her sight to her soon discovers that she's gotten more than she expected, as she starts seeing... ghosts. Hoping to find an answer to the mystery of how to make the ghosts go away (or at least stop being scary and threatening), she begins an investigation of what happened to her corneas' former owner, Ling.
