Jack Black has a Magnetic Personality

It looks like director Michel Gondry (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) is changing around his schedule and bringing actor Jack Black (King Kong) along for the ride.

Orginally the two were intending on working together for a film version of the novel "Master of Time and Space" about a pair of mad-scientists who try to get away from it all by creating an entirely new universe. Now the two will be supposedly working on "Be Kind Rewind".

Jack Black will play a man with a magnetic brain in this new sureal comedy. His brain becomes a bother when he inadvertantly destroy's his best friend's video-store by scrambling all the videos. Now they must secure a back-catalogue of all the videos in order to keep the bussiness of a loyal customer.

In all honesty, I have no idea how this is going to be in any way entertaining. If it wasn't for the fact that Jack Black will be in it, I might assume that there will be nothing more to the plot worth checking out. But seeing how it IS Jack Black and also Michel Gondry involved, then I'm sure there is a little more involved than just erasing video tapes with his mind.

(Makes me wonder what would happen if Jack Black's magnetic mind character were to ever meet up with Samara from "The Ring")
