'Superstition' Movie from 'Thirteen Ghosts' Writer

Neil Marshall Stevens, writer of Thirteen Ghosts, is currently working on a film adaptation of the novel 'Superstition'  by David Ambrose.

The book follows a university psychologist that gathers eight people to test his theory that ghost can be made or 'conjured' out of thin air.  They soon learn, however, that there are some things that really should not be trifled with.  When the ghost appears and those who conjured it don't believe it's who it says it is, they begin to die.

Michael Bay's Platinum Dunes is producing the film, which Stevens has expressed interest in directing.

I've always been a sucker for ghost stories and this looks to be an interesting premise for a film.  I'm tempted to purchase the novel as it has received favorable reviews from most legitimate sources.  We'll be sure to watch this movie and see how things progress.
