BoxOffice Report: April 16th 2006

Well Happy Easter everyone. Another week has gone by, and summer is quickly approaching us. With another beautiful weekend that we had, there is nothing better then going to see a good movie. Looking at the estimated results, I was honestly quite surprised to see how well Scary Movie 4 did, because its this weeks top spot.

 

Holding on strong, Ice Age: The Meltdown slipped a little in the standings, but it's still right up there, taking in this weeks second top spot. There's a variety of movies out there now, something for everyone. We've got comedies for the people who just love to laugh, and we a couple of action movies that haven't done too well, surprisingly. Anyways, thinking about the upcoming movies that are hitting theatres soon, I personally think that the BoxOffice is going to see a good increase in sales. But that is then, and this is now, so here is this weeks BoxOffice review.

Taking a look at these top tens, I personally don't think there are any movies, except for Ice Age: The Meltdown, that have any potential in breaking any sort of BoxOffice records. Scary Movie 4 is this weeks top spot, like I said, and even though I haven't seen it yet, I think I will wait until it comes out to video.

 

The third installment of the Scary Movie series, wasn't that good, so you have to wonder, how is the 4th one going to do, well it is this weeks top spot, but I guess the real test is to wait until next week to see how it does, and then we will see if its hot, or a flop. Anyways, sorry for my lack of news and articles guys, its exam time, and I've been crazy busy for the past 2 weeks, but now that I will have some extra time coming up, I promise to deliver good and exciting news, because after all, what else am I writing for, for you guys of course!
