Day Of The Dead: Contagium. 10 Min Review

Now that  is Out of the way..lets get to it.

If I had to condense all my feelings into one word about the trailer it would not be dissapointment ( for this word I would have had to had a little enthusiasm in the film), It could not be Rubbish ( this trailer goes far and beyond this word). In fact  I could not even call it Amateurish or a B-Movie as this would only belittle  many movies that I love. No the truth is there are no words to describe how awful this looks...however, I'll give it a go.

Straight off the terrible acting is obvious, so obvious in fact that everyone on set must have known...or as I like think everyone else was just as terrible and no one wanted to admit it. The "action" if you can call it that gets off straight away. With lots of running and screaming...and yawn. By the first couple of minutes I was already bored of the dam thing. From seeing some behind the scenes shot of the zombies I was at least looking forward to some good SFX. Yet I was dissapointed again, Apart from the Extra Crispy Super Powerful Russian  the zombie's seen were very poor. You almost felt happy that they were being put out of there terrible make up life.

Along with this we have Some army guys running in, shooting the place up then wandering around giving out poorly created headshots to all and sundry. Bit more running from a few people, few more bad headshots. By the end  I felt like 10 mins of mine life had been wasted and I was never going to get them back. Granted I could have stared at the ceiling for this time but even this would have been a better use of my time, and it would have been far more exciting and action packed then the preview.

As I type this the Official site has disabled the preview , wether this is because of terrible reviews from people or technical problems or even if it's because it's bloody awful, we may never know. But lets hope that it comes back up soon so those few who have not seen it, can bask in it's awful performances and  "action" Scenes.

Still one good thing that may come out of this, we might now be able to appreciate some of those films we thought terrible before.
