Will Smith in GREENBACKS

Doug Cook and David Weisberg (writers of "The Rock") are working on a project called "Greenbacks" to which Will Smith has been attached. The story takes place in Morocco where an American expatriate comes across a plot to flood the world's economy with perfect conterfeit bills. Expect the usual hip-hop, smartass attitude, and maybe even a catchy reworking of someone else's song.
 
Humor aside, I enjoyed "I Robot" and can accept Will Smith in more serious roles. The current problem I see here is the plot itself. Without some kind of gimmick, the whole "destroy the worlds' economy" has been done multiple times and even a name like Will Smith isn't enough to draw my interest. Now when they cast the villain we might have something. Might I suggest Cillian Murphy, 20th Century Fox? You'd earn my $11.00 right there.
