Box Office Report April 2nd 2006

Being the new kid I decided to give this weeks box office report a shot. Spring is here, and so begins blockbuster season. With a variety of movies out there, there's a great chance there's a movie for everyone's liking. Whether your a animated fan of a certain ice age, or just like a good T for Thriller, I'm sure there's a movie out there that would suite to your likings. I don't know what it is about a nice spring night, that just makes you wanna go watch a movie. Well I'm here to show you how the movies did at the box office.

 

Well keep in mind these are just an estimate done after two nights, the real figures won't be out until monday. Two new realease, as long as one of last weeks releases took top three spots. All figures are in millions. So lets see which was hot and which flopped. Pretty Basic eh?

Well, with no surprise, Ice Age: The Meltdown took top spot. Who didn't like the original, I  sure did. I am proud to say that I own it. Inside Man's second week in the box office, earned him 2nd spot, follwed by ATL coming in for its first week in spot number 3. All the rumours that Basic Instinct 2 was going to flop, well, they aren't rumours at all.

 

Basic Instinct 2 was this weeks, 10th spot. I think this weekend was a pretty good weekend. There's definitely a few movies out now that I would like to see. Something for all ages, something for a date, or something to just go see with your friends and get freaked out. This week sure has a variety of them. With the next few weeks to come, I personally think the action will heat up and there will be big figures for the box offices in the future. Alot of upcoming hits are coming out, look for Top Ten Blockbusters for this summer.
