Freddy vs Jason vs Ash Movie back in the works?
Posted by:Empire Online is now reporting that The Chin himself could be facing off against A Nightmare On Elm Street's dude with the bad skin and Friday The 13th's hockey fan extraordinaire. We have discussed this on the site over and over and over and the general consensus is Bruce Campbell is the man, and this movie is the lamest premise in awhile. Please do not ruin a great character like Ash with this crap.
To be clear NOTHING is happening yet, and Bruce has said many times he will NOT be in this movie, and I give him a big high five for having some character and some taste. I hope they dont buy him to do this movie, and I hope he does not sell out.

New Line are reported to be negotiating with Sam Raimi to bring Ash into the mix, as he owns the rights to the Evil Dead franchise. Sam Raimi will not direct, most likely because he knows crap when he sees it. Empire Online says that Ash will be played by Bruce, but see my earlier statements.
Should the Ash proposal fall through, there are still plans to pit Freddy and Jason against each other again, and possibly bring yet another new character into the mix, but let's all pray to the Buffy poster on our wall that Ash gets the chance to face off against the slasher kings. I saw Freddy vs Jason and it was one of my all time lamest movie moments ever.
