V For Vendetta Movie Review !

Our gorgeously talented critic Sheila had the chance to watch James McTiegue's "V for Vendetta", which comes to cinemas tomorrow. Cool enough you might think, but whats even cooler is the fact that the movie seems to kick butt. Cause Sheila doesn't give 10/10 points for no reason. Here's a little snippet from the review:

"V For Vendetta" is audacious filmmaking, wry political commentary, and provocative pulp fiction rolled into one. It is both entertaining and fueled by potent and timely ideas. Instead of hiding their ideas behind the cloak of sci-fi, the filmmakers take great pains to connect the events in their film to our everyday reality.

Set against the futuristic landscape of totalitarian Britain, V for Vendetta tells the story of a mild-mannered young woman named Evey (Natalie Portman) who is rescued from a life-and-death situation by a masked vigilante known only as "V." Incomparably charismatic and ferociously skilled in the art of combat and deception, V ignites a revolution when he detonates two London landmarks and takes over the government-controlled airwaves, urging his fellow citizens to rise up against tyranny and oppression.

As Evey uncovers the truth about Vâ€™s mysterious background, she also discovers the truth about herself â€“ and emerges as his unlikely ally in the culmination of his plot to bring freedom and justice back to a society fraught with cruelty and corruption.
