Will We See A Third Conan?

At the most prestigious Arnold Schwarzenegger Fan Website, TheArnoldFans.com, comes news about a possible second sequel to the Conan films. They were informed by a source close to Jeff Robinov, president of the Warner Brothers film division, that says, "If Arnold looses the next term, the WB wants the new Conan epic shooting on a grueling gorilla schedule around the clock starting March 2007 for a December 2007 release date. If Spielberg can do it for WAR OF THE WORLDS it can be done."

The source also mentions that Robinov says the title for the second sequel will might be called "King Conan". However, Robinov says that "Conan The Conqueror" is in the mix because King Conan sounds like a finale. Sounds like a set up for even more sequels, however, there has been no world from Conan himself, Schwarzenegger, whether he will reprise his barbaric role. In the first film, Cimmerian Conan (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is captured as a child after his parents' savage murder by raiding Vanir led by Thulsa Doom (James Earl Jones), head also of the malignant snake-cult of Set. Fifteen yeas' agony, first chained to the Wheel of Pain grinding grain and then enslaved as a Pit Fighter, forge a magnificent body and indomitable spirit.

Freed miraculously one day by his owner, Conan, with his companions Subotai the Mongol (Gerry Lopez) and Valeria, Queen of Thieves (Sandahl Bergman), sets forth upon his quest to learn "the riddle of steel" which, his father has prophesied, will confer ultimate power; and to kill the arch-villain Thulsa Doom.
