WindTalkers Directors Cut on DVD

SONY is releasing a directors cut of "WindTalkers". The Windtalkers Director's Cut will be available for a SRP of $19.94 and features almost 20 minutes of footage not shown in theaters as well as three audio commentaries. In Windtalkers, Marine Joe Enders (Cage) is assigned to protect the Marines' new secret weapon - Navajo code talker Ben Yahzee (Beach). The only code never broken by the Japanese, the Navajo Code is considered key in winning the war. Enders' orders are to protect his code talker and should Yahzee fall into enemy hands, he is to protect the code at all costs. Against the backdrop of the Battle of Saipan, when capture is imminent, Enders is forced to make a decision - protect his fellow Marine or kill him to protect the code.

Windtalkers Director's Cut has a run time of 153 minutes and is rated R for pervasive graphic war violence, and for language. Stay tuned as our DVD man Jason will no doubt post more updates very soon.
