UPDATED: Eli Roth is directing BayWatch? Pam Anderson Cameo?

Talk about a WTF moment. Apparently Pamela Anderson is making a cameo in the upcoming Baywatch movie we first told you about many months ago. That is not so much odd as the fact that according to IMDB Eli Roth is directing. Who what? Hello? Am I missing something? The most deranged director in the horror industry is doing a Baywatch movie? Yeah.... ok. Please somebody confirm this to be untrue.
 
Anyrate apparently Eli Roth is doing Baywatch and he is going to do cameos with all the old stars but will be using a new lineup of super hot chicks as leads. Now on top of asking yourself why is Eli doing this movie? Ask yourself, Why do we need a Baywatch movie? Will you watch it?
 
Update: According to a reader this is a bunch of poo poo. Apparently some British tabloid started all these rumours about him directing but it turns out he's not the director he's only the co-producer. Kudos to Sean Dwyer for the update!
