Schut will scribe Criminal Macabre

Bragi Schut has been hired to write the script for the film Criminal Macabre. It is based off of a graphic novel written by Steve Niles. The story revolves around Cal McDonald, a hard-drinking, impetuous detective who takes on the supernatural in a decidedly low-tech, film noir style.

Dark Horse Entertainment will produce their first film with Toby Jaffe and Stephanie Palmer overseeing. I have never read this graphic novel before but I have heard alot about it. We all know that Steve Niles is really hot right now and has alot of films being made from his work.
