Paramount is playing a Killer's Game

Paramount has picked up the movie rights to The Killer's Game from Intermedia. The story centers on an assassin who decides to go out in a blaze of glory and takes out a contract on himself but then decides he'd rather remain alive and must match skills with an array of hired hitmen.

Sounds like a cool film to me. John Woo, Alex Proyas, Renny Harlin and Wolfgang Petersen have all been interested in the film as well. It would be really great if John Woo got ahold of this movie. This movie sounds custom fit for him.

Rand Ravichwrote the first script based on Jay Bonansinga's novel of the same name. Simon Kinberg has written a second draft.
