David Duchovny in HULK 2?

Seems that according to FilmRot their is a new Hulk in town. Its gonna be David Duchovny. Or at least that is the rumor. Eric Bana recently told NewsDay that their is NO plans to do a sequel for The Hulk and that nobody is talking about it. But even we the low brow movie fanatics on the inter-web know that is horse ka-ka poo-poo. Since Marvel has been talking about the damn thing since last year.

David Duchovny in my opinion would be a great choice for the new Hulk. He is dark, witty and just fits! I absolutely think HULK sucked, and was such a great character that was totally massacred on the big screen. I hated Eric Bana in the role and perhaps so did Marvel and maybe they are reworking it and going to do it right this time. So Eric may be telling Newsday NO  to Hulk 2 happening, but we are going with Marvel who say it is happening.

Update: According to Ari Arad Marvel head honcho this rumor is about as true as Eric Bana saying Hulk 2 is not going to happen. So no, sorry but Mulder is gonna have to stick to uncovering UFO's. Great rumor though!
