Quentin Tarantino Presents Hero

Somehow this film slipped passed my radar. Last night I was watching TV for some reason and the preview for this movie played, I was floored. This looks like the next Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Quentin Tarantino must have been impressed too because he has lent his name to the film. I have added a photo album and the trailer to the database. Directed by Zhang Yimou and starring Jet Li, Zhang Ziyi, and Donnie Yen. Hero is due in theatres August 27th.

Hero is the story of the soon-to-be First Emperor of China who is on the brink of conquering a war-torn land during the violent dawn of the Qin dynasty over two thousand years ago. Three opponents are determined to assassinate the King, and one loyal subject stands in their way.
