Aquaman is Cast for WB Show

Aquaman recently had a cameo appearance on the Smallville TV series played by Alan Ritchson. I caught the episode and it was kinda cool. I enjoyed seeing another familiar face in the smallville series. Now Variety is reporting that the WB is going ahead with their planned Aquaman Movie.

Will Toale will star as Aquaman. The series will be based around him and his life fighting crime and working at a dive camp. I am not to sure how well this spin off series will do but if it is as good as Smallville I am sure it will be another hit show for the WB.
