World Premier of Legit in Chicago

Kitchen Film Productions announces the premiere of it’s first feature film, “legit”. The World Premiere will be held in Chicago on Monday, January 30th, at the Lakeshore Theatre, 3175 North Broadway.

The story is about a man who decides to do the unthinkable: get out of the mob. With the city of Chicago as it’s backdrop, follow the story of one man who tries to beat the odds without ever having to fix the numbers.

As many film companies look to take their productions to other cities to portray Chicago, Kitchen Film Productions, the movie’s Chicago-based company, wants to help bring filmmaking back, not only to Chicago, but to the state of Illinois.

“‘legit’, was filmed using locations from Chicago and it’s suburbs, including Rockford and Northwest Indiana. These locations were second to none…”, says James W. Boinski, the film’s director. “legit” is a movie filmed exclusively using Chicago talent and crew. “…Illinois has a strong core of talent and we are proud to produce this movie in Chicago using that talent.”
