Our colleagues from Fangoria had the chance to talk to director Eli Roth, whos new movie "Hostel" comes to cinemas January 6th. But already there is some info about the upcoming DVD. Or should i say DVDs? Yes, there are plans for 2 DVDs. One featuring the cinematrical version and one with an alternate ending which would be released later. But now read on for a little snippet of what the director had to say.

"I wanted to do the alternate ending as a DVD special, and I don't think they're going to release that just yet. First we'll have the theatrical movie with just bonus features, then somewhere down the road they want to do a special-edition director's cut with the original ending on it. I didn't want that conclusion to be an extra; I'd like to watch the movie with it added on."

Internationally renowned filmmaker Quentin Tarantino presents Eli Roth's "Hostel", the follow-up to the writer-director's hit debut, 2002's "Cabin Fever". More grisly than Roth's feature bow, "Hostel" is a mixture of many of the most terrifying things about human nature and the world at large, culled from many impossible-but-true stories of human trafficking, international organized crime, and sex tourism. Relentlessly graphic and deeply disturbing, the film is sure to shock even the most hard core genre fans.
