King Kong Production Diaries on DVD

Posted by: Michael

I have seen this new box set for King Kong and I gotta tell you it is pretty damn neat! The box set comes with not just hours of the making of Kong it also includes a signed certificate of authenticity and some seriously cool drawings made by artists who did renderings for the film. This is seriously top notch stuff. I hate marketing gimmicks and this DVD set is far from it. It is top notch all the way!

The set comes in a huge mothering box that is in the shape of a chest ( see image below ). It is impressive, bulky and just makes you feel all epic inside. The contents consist of a limited edition certificate signed by the man himself Peter Jackson, as well as some seriously cool color artwork from the film. Of course it also includes hours of behind the scenes documentary footage.

Those of you who know Peter Jackson should know that when he does something he does it big and likes to document it as much as possible. The Production Diaries do that and more. They deliver hours of behind the scenes and making of footage for King Kong as well as some really nice collectible items good enough to be framed on the wall. This box set is a must buy for Kong fans and Peter Jackson fans alike. If you enjoyed the Directors cut of the frighteners and all its extras you will love this!
