Zu Warriors DVD Details and Artwork

Miramax's Zu Warriors is coming to DVD March 7th 2006. We have the details ad DVD artwork. ZU WARRIORS is the action-packed fantasy choreographed by legendary Woo-ping Yuen of “Kill Bill” and “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” fame, and is directed by Hark Tsui (“Black Mask” 1 & 2; “Iron Monkey;” “Once Upon A Time In China”). ZU WARRIORS has won awards at the prestigious Golden Horse Film Festival (Winner Best Art Direction, Best Costume and Make-Up, 2001), and won the Hong Kong Film Critics Society “Film of Merit” award (2002).

High in the clouds of China resides the Zu Mountain range, home to numerous immortal clans. These mountains are the envy of the evil Onix, a war-mongering demon who has already destroyed the Kun Lun clan and plans to take over the world. Onix’s next conquest is to annihilate the Omei clan. But Blue Wolf, the lone survivor of Kun Lun, teams up with Omei’s head student, Red Hawk, and the clan’s grand master, White Lion, in order to destroy Onix before it’s too late. In a fierce battle, they succeed in splitting Onix apart, but pieces of his essence escape into the Blood Cavern, where he hides and rebuilds his strength. If the Omei clan is to defeat Onix, they must join forces with other Zu warriors in the ultimate battle.
