Mad Monster Party Coming to the Big Screen!

Mad Monster Party is going to be made a live-action film by Warner Bros. Pictures and Basil Iwanyk's Thunder Road Productions. I really love this movie, at least the 1967 claymation version. It has been a tradition for me to watch this movie every Halloween and it always gets me in the mood for a great Halloween.

The story goes that Baron Von Frankenstein calls all of the classic monsters to his house for a conference. At the conference he is going to announce who he is going to leave his riches to. Of course everyone is clamoring over it but Frankenstein is going to give it to his normal nephew. Chaos and comedy insue.

John Pardee and Joey Murphy will write the script. The producers on Mad Monster Party are Jack Gilardi, Jr and Jean Pierre Pereat along with Basil's company thunder Road pictures. Two other very important people involved in the new production of Mad Monster Party are CO Producer Anthony Avalon and Executive Producer Arthur Rankin Jr. The picture is set for production sometime after christmas 2004. Evolving Pictures developed this project for 3 years before bringing it to Basil's company.
