Luc Besson Directing Die Hard 4.0?

Word is that Luc Besson director of The 5th Element is on board for Die Hard 4.0. Movihole.net is reporting that he will direct the movie which will star Bruce Willis ( or so its being reported thus far ).

We should be seeing Die Hard 4.0 sometime in 2006. In the Fifth Element, Bruce Willis is New York cab driver Korben Dallas who didn't mean to be a hero, but he just picked up the kind of fare that only comes along every five thousand years: a perfect beauty, a perfect being, a perfect weapon. Now, together, they must save the world.

I have high hopes for the re-teaming of these two for Die Hard 4.0. Currently Doug Richardson ("Hostage") is writing the script after they tossed Marc Bomback. Of course they can't do "Die Hard" without Bruce Willis and he is clearing his schedule to shoot the film in the Spring/Summer 2005. Reginald Vel Johnson is also in talks to reprise his role as the cop Al Powell.
